CV Manchester Soccer Club & Wayne Harrison are presenting a “One Day Symposium” on individual and team play.
The clinics are based around the “THINKING PROCESS”; developing it in various guises; until we reach the current favored system of play many top teams now use; the 4-2-3-1; that requires each individual player within the team to have the ability to think AHEAD OF THE BALL; for it to be successful.
Please come to this “FREE” event aimed at showcasing the CV Manchester Soccer Club and what it has to offer players and coaches, and to promote some specific ideas on training that may be new to you.

CV Manchester Coach Wayne Harrison will present the coaching clinics. The 4-2-3-1 can be played in different ways, this is Wayne’s interpretation based on Barcelona; Real Madrid and Arsenal’s Methodology of Playing.
THREE FEATURED CLINIC SESSIONS: CLINIC PROCEEDINGS:
- An introductory explanation of the days coaching.
- A “Soccer Awareness Developing Vision” Clinic for Training the “Mind” and increasing speed of “Thought and Movement”; moving from the “Technical Phase”
to the “Skill Factor Phase” to the “Tactical Phase” - Coaching the 4-2-3-1 the “Spanish Way” (becoming a 3-1-3-3 in the
Attacking Phase) - Counter Attacking and Quick Break Transition Play building to an 11 v 11 in
a 4-2-3-1 system of play (it can be used for any system of play)

WAYNE’S BACKGROUND:
- UEFA “A” License Coach since 1996 who also holds the NSCAA Premier Diploma and a Degree in Sports Psychology and Applied Physiology.
- Has played professionally in England (Blackpool) and Finland (Oulu Palloseura); represented Great Britain in the World Student games in Mexico; and was an English Football (Soccer) Association County Coaching Director.
- He has coached professionally in England as the Youth Director at Blackpool Football Club, and in the United Arab Emirates with top Middle East professional club Al Ain with great success; where his Academy Youth teams won 7 National UAE Championships in 2 years under his leadership and specific training program; and particularly using the 4-2- 3-1 system of play.
- In tournament play the Al Ain U15 and U16 teams beat the likes of Atletico Madrid, Valencia, Inter Milan, Blackpool and Raja of Morocco; plus a friendly game win against a Manchester United U15 team; to give an indication of the top level the teams were playing at.
